GROUND RULES:

  1. All contestants and their dependents must pay at the gate.  The rodeo secretary will reimburse you.
  2. All dogs must stay at your vehicle or at the trailer on a leash.
  3. Contestants, please use contestant parking.  (limited space available).  Please no parking in the fair public parking.  Please enter through the south gate of the fairgrounds.
  4. No railbirds during the show or slack, especially at the timed event end.  (We need to stay off of arena fences and pens for 1) safety reasons, and 2) to make it easier for the committee personnel to move and load chutes.
  5. Behind the rough stock chutes and timed event area—only the following personnel will be allowed for safety reason:  a) rodeo contractor and his/her assigned personnel; b) rodeo director and their personnel; c) judges, timers, announcer, and clowns; d) contestants and one (1) helper.  NO CHILDREN; e) Skagit County employees (fair, animal control personnel)
  6. Arena will be closed 45 minutes before the rodeo performance while the tractor operator is in the arena preparing the arena for the performance.  There are two (2) warm up arena’s provided at the south end behind the main arena, please use them.
  7. Arena directors reserves the right to remove any unnecessary persons “in the arena”, “behind the rough stock chutes, and timed event areas”.
  8. Only the contestant competing in his or her event will be allowed in the arena during the performances, officials and committee members only in the arena during the performances.
  9. No contestant or family member will interfere with the preparation of the arena.
  10. No contestant or family member will interfere with any committee member and may be subject to be removed from the fair grounds by fair security.
